Personality
Our little Lauren had her first dance recital last Saturday. She danced to a song called, "Personality," which we thought was very fitting. I'll admit I had my doubts about participating in the recital. First you have to order the expensive costume and the tickets, and then they spent so much class time rehearsing, and they won't let you take pictures or video, so you have to order the dvd, etc...all these things made me wonder if it was worth it...until I saw my little girl on stage. I could hardly contain myself as I watched her perform. Half-way through she seemed to forget what she was doing, but that made it even more adorable. All the expense and hassle was worth it to watch those two minutes of her on stage. And she thought she had "arrived" because she got to perform on a "REAL STAGE!" as she told everyone.

Handsome Hair
Andrew was born with "handsome hair", as we like to call it. He had just the right amount when he was born, and although he lost some baby hair, it filled in pretty nicely despite a little bald spot in back and some long strands on top that mom refuses to cut. Here are a few of my favorite shots of our little man's hairdos.
Here he is at one week old...lookin' sharp.

Gram-Z and the kids put his new silky tag blanket on his head and after that it was no longer a tag blanket, but always refered to as "Andrew's wig".

Here's his handsome hair at Easter...

Handsome hair in the bathtub! (Check out the two little teeth that just broke through!)

Good morning bed-head!
Here he is after Daddy styled it in a mohawk!
Andrew's first haircut--May 17, 2008 (Seven Months old!) We couldn't get a picture of the actual haircut, because Brad had to hold his head still while I trimmed around his ears.

Go Giants!
We got to take the whole family to the Giants game on Saturday. We weren't sure how enjoyable it was going to be with a wiggly 7-month-old in tow. It was an adventure getting to the game, but we all had a great time. The highlight for the kids was playing baseball on the mini AT&T baseball park. Here are a few pictures of the fun:
