Saturday, May 2nd is a day we will always remember--Caleb was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We are so proud of him!
He was just beaming after he put on the white clothes
(with lots of cute details like punctuation, and ears, and accordion doors to the font)
We were so grateful for those who came from near and far to support Caleb, and although we missed those who couldn't be there, we felt so much love from everyone.
Memorable Moments:
• Caleb's baseball game being cancelled b/c of rain--I was probably more grateful than anyone to not have to worry about getting from the field to the church on time.
• Brian and Nicole coming over at just the right time to play with and make each of our children feel loved.
• Andrew confiscating their water bottles--what good sports they were!
• Seeing Caleb's nervousness turn to excitement once he put on the white clothes
• The "pinky promise" baptism talk given by Julia's older sister
• Caleb's face right after he came out of the water--according to Brad: "priceless!"
• Listening to my mom tenderly talk about the Gift of the Holy Ghost
• Listening to Brad welcome Caleb to the ward :)
• Listening to Caleb's confirmation blessing
• Having lots of babysitters to help with Andrew so I COULD "listen" and watch everything
• Being together with all our family and friends and soaking in the love and Spirit we all felt
• Noticing and appreciating the feeling of calm I had all day
• Noticing how quickly it went--all of a sudden, the day was over!
