The kids enjoyed our cookies and told us all about their first days of school when they got home.
A couple of weeks later, it was this guy's turn.

Then he got his nametag and washed his hands.
I tried not to be worried when he leaned up against the cabinet and did not participate in circle time. Although Andrew does typically hold back in new situations, I was crossing my fingers that he would have a good day. He did get a little hurt by one of his friends "on purpose", but overall seemed to enjoy his first day of school. His teachers are so wonderful and are really helping him grow in so many ways!
