Hike to Cascade Falls

Tahoe holds a special place in our hearts, since we went there on our honeymoon 13 years ago (!). We love that the kids love it as much as we do and want to return every summer, even for a quick stop as we're driving home from Utah.

This year, we found a hike that was "just right" for our family. It wasn't too steep, or too long, but provided beautiful views the whole time. Ella (2 mos) slept in the bjorn the whole time. The falls did not disappoint--the water was roaring and we could get up pretty close to the waterfall.

I take it as a good sign that the kids are still smiling after that hike.
